DIY CLEANING PRODUCTS

the photo used in my graphic is not my own but unfortunately I can’t find the original artist!

I’ve been using homemade cleaners for probably six months now, I wanna say. I always saw these apple cider vinegar cleaners on my Pinterest feed and had been wanting to test them out. so of course when I ran out of our multi-surface cleaner I figured it was as good as time as any. let me just tell you, the vinegar cleaner I’m about to list cleaned everything, even our nasty stove top, a million times better than anything I’ve ever used before! ever since then I switched over to using homemade cleaners. not only is it better on our wallets but it’s better for the environment as well; since we aren’t constantly buying and tossing plastic bottles and are making it ourselves with clean ingredients. another thing to mention is that I’m no longer fearful of Luna rummaging through the cabinet under the sink, alright that being said let’s dive into my favourite homemade cleaners!

MULTI-SURFACE CLEANER

  • Apple cider vinegar
  • (with or without the mother)
    • distilled water
    • thieves essential oil
    • lavender essential oil
    • lemon grass essential oil
  • you take equal parts ACV and your distilled water-if you have no distilled water just boil tap water and then let it cool. mix into your container with 5-10 drops of thieves oil based off the size of the container. thieves oil is a natural disinfectant that works just as great as bleach but is derived from a plant! 2-5 drops of lavender and lemon grass, this is solely for the scent but it’ll also help cleanse your home metaphysically.
